1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Wellington Decorators Limited ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services

Wellington Decorators provides professional painting and decorating services for residential and commercial properties in the Wellington region. Our services include interior painting, exterior painting, deck staining, wallpapering, and related services.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on the scope of work discussed and may be adjusted if additional work is required.
GST is included in all quoted prices unless otherwise specified.

4. Payment Terms

A deposit may be required for larger projects.
Final payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept bank transfer, credit card, and cash payments.

5. Our Guarantee

As Registered Master Painters, we provide a 5-year workmanship guarantee on all our painting work. This guarantee covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by external factors, normal wear and tear, or substrate failure.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

Provide safe access to work areas
Remove or protect valuable items from work areas
Inform us of any known issues with surfaces to be painted
Ensure utilities (power, water) are available as needed

7. Cancellation

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Wellington Decorators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
